Class Description
Pilates body motion is a complete work-out based on Pilates exercises and focused on 7 main principles such as breathing, centering, alignment, shoulder organization, joint articulation, balance, width and length of motion. Very efficient as a body-mind training, Pilates body motion accesses all the intrinsic muscles and strengthens the posture and corrects the alignment of our bone structure, especially the spine, making it an ideal training in case of back pain.

Presenters Bio
Philippe Beaufour
Philippe has lived in Auroville for the last 10 years. He learned Tai Chi, Chi Kung and Kung Fu from master Tran Khin in Paris. He is a certified Nia teacher, Pilates Body Motion teacher, Natural Riding horse instructor, personal trainer, and graduate from the ESG Business School of Paris.

Sabine Zweig
Sabine is a Black Belt certified Nia teacher, Pilates Body Motion Teacher, dance and movement teacher, architect, designer, and Feng Shui consultant. My passion in life is dancing and sharing the experience of self-healing with others. The freedom and spirit I feel in Auroville has always been the source of my inner creativity in life.  Sabine has been coming to Auroville every year since 1996 and is living in Repos with Philippe.

Philippe and Sabine have founded the Body-Mind-Fusion Space in Repos as a holistic approach to life. Based on the techniques and teachings of several international masters and teachers (Tran Khin - Paris, Vin Marti - Soul Motion, Portland, Anna Halprin -Tamalpa Institute, San Francisco, Debbie and Carlos Rosas - founders of Nia), their classes and workshops are offered in Asia and Europe. They also develop their body of work in alignment with the Integral Yoga of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother.
