Workshop Description
In QiGong gentle and rhythmic movements are done in combination with different breathing patterns. It is an aspect of traditional Chinese medicine, called “the art of managing one’s breathing” in order to achieve and maintain good health.  
 
In this workshop you will be introduced to the slow movements of the Chinese way of connecting brain and muscles, which bring thought Yi and energy Qi in balance. By observing and practicing the movements you are centering yourself and stress is getting reduced.

Presenter Bio
Ellen Berring
Ellen Berring, born 1933 in Denmark, is a certified teacher in Kinesiology and Master Zhang’s Tai Chi QiGong. She is living and working in Dyssekilde, an ecological village in Denmark, where she gives classes regularly. Her personal encounter with Chinese Martial Arts began in 1980 when during recovery from a car accident she was advised to take up Tai Chi. She practiced it regularly for regaining her balance and gave workshops later on. In 1997 she was introduced to Master Zhang's QiGong and has been practicing since then.
