Description
Participants are invited to Janaka House in Ravena where for the past eight years I have done an extensive research into sacred art using themes from many different spiritual backgrounds and applying the unique techniques and materials of traditional South Indian Thanjavur art to sacred themes, not only traditional South Indian themes, but North Indian, Tibetan, Hindu, Christian, Jewish, American Indian, icons and mandalas from these different spiritual backgrounds. The participants can see the work that has been done and the process by which it has been created.

I have been in Auroville since 1969. I have been living in Janaka house since 1991 and started Janaka art studio with Master Ganesson from Thanjavur in 1998. Janaka studio is an open art studio and artists from all over the world have participated in our adventure here. I have been concentrating on this art studio for the past nine years.
