Workshop
Description
We are offering a ten-day experiential workshop in the basic practice of the Integral Yoga -- consciously offering our work to the Divine. This workshop is designed for both busy Aurovilians who cannot take time for workshops, and for guests who can spend the day in an intensive practice. Participants will start the morning with yoga and consecration, reading from Mother and Sri Aurobindo and making a strong intention to remember and offer during the day. This is followed by breakfast together in silence at Verite’s Ayurvedic kitchen. Then Aurovilians go to their regular work, with that strong determination, while the fulltime participants will meet again and participate in deepening of meditation practice, yoga, shiatsu and spiritual healing, as well as karma yoga. Everyone comes back to Verite for lunch, again in silence, with a group re-consecration, and again go out to work, or to resume the various other practices. Returning to Verite for supper (again, taken together in silence), afterwards the whole group will meet, concentrate and share their experiences of the day.
Mother and Sri Aurobindo’s teachings on Consecration will be read. Using the power of concentrated effort and group endeavor multiplies the effects of consecration.
